Should be doing hw, but instead i think i'm gonna update this. i feel so left out; stupid xangers. NOO! dont give in! hehehehe. anywayz, yea. i thought this would be a good time to show some differences between here and home. besides the blatantly obvious, of course.

*~WEATHER! my face is so dry. Good ole houstonian weather w/ the humidity. HA. Plus, it's so COLD HERE! and it's not even REALLY cold yet...
*~Language. I still get made fun of about my "yall"ing. mostly by ppl i dont talk to ask much. it's ok, cuz dave and elaine say yall now! woohoo! plus, the swole/diesel battle. no1 here uses swole @ all. it's weird. but see, diesel applies to more things than swole.
*~PpL. it's just...different. i wont say if it's a good or bad different, it's just different. i still feel alittle lonesome sometimes w/ out my huge network of friends(it's been building since i was born in houston...).
*~Transportation. No car. walking a lot. stairs. waiting 4 buses. not really used to that yet.
*~Parties! i miss the indian parties! it's so weird, the divisions. omg my suite mate was playing this indian song the other day, and i was like OMG I KNOW THIS SONG! it bought back memories. it was that song we used in international night for the fashion show, and simi danced to it. plus, the countless times we "screwed in the light bulb" and did our indian style dance, including bhavna-style. :) Plus, we dont go clubbing here. it's like...club parties. hard 2 explain.
*~Academics is a mofo here. i dont wanna start venting about physics again. but it's quite different.
*~Diet. i'm eating so incredibly horribly now. must stop. getting so fat! that plus lack of exercise is not doing good 4 me.
*~I have to go back to that friends thing again. i'm luvin my "dj plej sac/dj jelcaps" group and all the other spiffy koolio beets ppl i've met and hung out w/, but i'm still missing my kids from home. there's something about my oldie but goldie friends...esp. those that have been w/ me thru the long haul. patrick, pat, jess, ann. u guys are my preciouses! i know i'm not cutesy or anything. i dont type cutesy, i dont talk cutesy. it's not my style. but if i did, i'd bust out there some. :) So do our high school friends really start fading after a while? cuz i still talk 2 mine @ least online practically everyday.

I cant think of anything else right now that's diff. my brain is frozen right now. which reminds me. soOooO cold! send me stuff to wear! i realize this layer of blubber that's growing in size will help, but it's not doing enuf. any and all contributions to the stephanie is cold foundation will be greatly appreciated.
OMG HARRY POTTER IS COMING OUT! so what am i gonna do? should i skip history and risk losing an attendance grade, or have like absolutely no time to get ready 4 semi formal? it's like a gamble. not that semi is that important or anything...but still need to look presentable. but HARRY POTTER! ok, i need to see who's gonna go w/ me 1st. gotta go opening day. keep up the tradition right? ;)
