OMG! so i went 2 go 2 the princeton review office after class to get proctoring instructions for this coming sunday. on my walk back, i walked by the pbs station, wqed or something like that, and there's all these news cars in front, and i'm wondering what's going on. so i stop and ask one of the security guards, who told me Mr. Roger's DIED! btw for all u that dont know, pittsburgh is like where all this pbs stuff started, and Mr. Rogers was filmed here. He actually lived in pittsburgh.

man, i watched his show religiously as a kid. i remember on days when i would get back from alpha in kindergarten(alpha was after hours, so i had to stay @ school and extra 2 hours), i'd come back and rewind the tape, my mom would make me instant ramen, and we would sit in front of the television to watch it. ahh the memories. my mom would put each spoonful of noodles in front of me, wait till i ate that one, and refilled it. i even learned how to use the vcr for the sole purpose of watching mr. rogers. well, that and sesame street. i loved that little train, and how it would go into a whole other world. the owl, the king(actually he kinda scared me), everything was so great. how he would always change shoes and cardigan while he was singing, and the song was always long enough for him to perform the entire action without him doing the actions in silence. shoot, i learned how to spell "friend" because of him. f-r-i-e-n-d SPECIAL! up to this day, whenever i type the word friend, i still think of it. what a great guy.

i seriously grew up watching him. none of that barney or teletubby crap they show nowadays. it's a shame he died. :( the security guard told me that ppl were dropping by flowers all day. man, on my way over 2 princeton review i walked by the flowers guy. i was thinking about buying some for myself, just b/c. they had some pretty tulips. i'm a big tulips person. dang it. i should've bought some. boo.

anyways, i'm sad. mr. rogers is dead. *sniff sniff*
