it's time for another post. much happenings occured this midsemester break, but i haven't gotten around to writing about it all. or any. heh. well, it was a good break. i quite enjoyed it. it'd b a hassle to go back and talk about everything we did. highlights include playing mah jong w/ my cousin, going 2 the conservatory, and spending good quality time w/ friends after crazy hectic school times. the break was well-deserved by all. OoO and we had pho today. REAL pho, but not @ the place we were aiming to go 2. this place...ehh..it was kinda lacking. but @ least it's authentic, unlike the 'pho' @ lulu's. more like regular beef soup.
anyways, it's PICTURE TIME!!! i finally got around to getting pictures from chris and shrinking them, altho some of the files are still big. they have 2 b, b/c if i dont keep them a certain size, they look all crappy. so...i hope that u didnt have to wait too long to upload them. also, hope your connection is decent. heh.
THE MUSEUM 2/15/2003

yea...this was great. lots of fun was had here in the 1 hour we spent rushing through. dave INSISTED we see the dinos 1st, so we did see them.

dave...looking adorable. haha he's so cute. he's even got the backpack thing on that looks like a shell.

hehe yes...we look stupid. but it wasnt our idea! altho i dont remember who's it was...but i SWEAR it wasnt my idea!
3/6/2003

here we are mah jonging it up, @ least some of us. that's KENNY my COUSIN who's opposite of me, the kool guy who provided the set and got all the boys obsessed. they freaking played till 6 in the MORNING! i was konked out @ like 3 or 4 or something, and tony was asleep by 5. and the boys CONTINUED to play till 6. CRAZINESS! oo yea, there was also psone gaming going on, and movie watching. lots of good ole cheap(aka FREE) fun. stupid 13 cards. it's all about the taiwanese method. I MISS MY MAH JONG KREW!!!
TRIP TO PHIPPS CONSERVATORY 3/8/2003
much to the suprise of most who went, this trip actually turned out 2 b ok, even tho it's just a place w/ flowers. the current exhibit is this awesome orchid one, and there's some really pretty ones. tony's gonna make me a collage of them for my background. yay! we actually took a LOT of pictures here, but i could only select a few for your viewing pleasure. if u wanna see more, just IM me! o yea, all pictures here are thanks to chris and his awesome digicam.

check it out. TAIPEI orchid! woohoo!

this is every1 looking into the reflection of this wishing well w/ gross stagnant water.

there was this way awesome water fountain that you could control by playing w/ these buttons, and that's jessma and i playing w/ it. :)

dont we look kool? FOB STYLE! not fobe, FOB!

these are the twins(tony and frank) looking hard up in the pretty conservatory.

this place is sooo pretty.

OK, i couldnt resist. that's the garden w/out us. plus i left the picture semi-large b/c it looks so much better big. u really have 2 go there. SOO pretty!!!

hahaha in my pursuit to find the outdoor garden part i kinda led every1 on a wrong turn thru this semi-deserted area, and that's frank kicking a "tumbleweed".
o yes, i 4got to mention how i found 2 quarters on the floor on the way there. and those 2 quarters were put to good use when i bought 2 sticks of honey. (25 cents per stick, plus no tax). awesome dawsoN!!
so i think that all of our outings have been pretty successful. there was also the outing to the chinese grocery store in the strip district(which might explain my away msg 'stripping' that confused many of u, and i recieved many ims about it). that was also quite fun. i'm still waiting 4 tony's uploads of our food pictures. when those are up i will definitely put them up here to show the successful food making. yay!!!!
well, school starts again tomorrow. boooooo. well, actually today, b/c it's past midnight already. laters!
