another fun weekend before school starts. this has been probably the best summer ever. so what interesting events transpired this weekend? well, let's see...

saturday - went to city to see the awesome ann chin (i know you're jealous). drank many a fruit smoothie, searched for my shoes all over the city, bumped into random people from high school and college (seems impossible to go to nyc and not see someone you know), and saw cookin', an off broadway show which i would highly recommend. it's about these korean chefs, and they do kool drumming with weird things (think stomp), and other stuff. stayed at my sister's place in brooklyn and watched the olympics at night. stupid events of the day: thinking that an address was 212 W. 34th street, when 212 is the area code of nyc. hahaha. and for ann, walking the correct way, then making us change cuz she thought we were going wrong, then realizing it after going another block, and changing again.

sunday - woke up early and took the boston <-> new york chinatown bus. ate dim sum, which was not bad, i luckily had ann and danielle as buffers. saw random places in boston/cambridge. MIT is crazy, that's all i can say. they waste/spend so much money on pointless things like dorms and buildings. waste all that space too. didnt get to go sailing cuz of the weather, boo. :( first time using a community bathroom since CYC back in high school. i've been spoiled with my semi-private bathroom that i've forgotten how much i dont like community showers. o well. stupid events of the day: thinking i lost my subway ticket, then finding it after i buy a new one. for ann: losing her bus ticket 10 minutes after putting it in her pocket. that baby disappeared, who knows where it went.

monday - more touring of boston, walked along some of the freedom trail, had yum seafood at quincy's market, then back to nyc it was. my train ended up at new brunswick, because i was unaware that the northeast corridor line had began to run an express to new brunswick with no stop at metropark. what losers. also had a pounding headache last night, but luckily it is gone today.

nice chill weekend, esp. thanks to my sister and danielle for letting ann and i bum at their place. also tony for long sleeved shirt and 40 bucks. :)
