Just realized I'm only here for 4 more weeks. 6 weeks has flown by. Soon, I have to start packing my belongings to go home. *sigh*

Harry Potter comes out tonight. I'm willing to not read it immediately, so I can maximize my 'going out' time here. As much as I love Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, and Miss Granger, I feel that they will be with me for a while and I should enjoy the remaining time I have here. Although I'm going to the pre-party w/ Dennis tonight. ANN LEFT ME FOR BOSTON! hmph.

I NEED MY CAMERA! Sucks to buy.com for being all delayed. I'm NEVER GOING TO GET IT.

Went for drinks after work with some interns, 10 bucks all you can drink. Too bad I ended up drinking only 1 drink (but got 3 total, so I guess it's worth it).

Then went to Concert in the Park to listen to the Philharmonic in Central Park w/ Wee Ming AKA Andrew. Good times. Weather was surprisingly ok; I seriously thought it would rain. There were some fireworks afterwards, so that was nice.

Wish I had a camera to document these experiences. *sigh*

I love my job. I love UBS. I know, I'm a nerd. But I love it.

It's fun! I'm learning more and more about the business (ibanking), and more about program management. I only hope I can continue doing this full time. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Yea, my work is starting to become more meaningful. When I attend meetings now, I actually know what's going on. Right now with the project I'm working on, I'm heading the meetings every day. At first a bit intimidating, but now, it's pretty good. I can only imagine what it's like to balance this as well as a million other things.

I'm such a dork. I should stop gushing.

July 9, 3:39 PM.

This is a moment to be remembered.

Jessica and I purchased our matching 'best friend' rings from Tiffany. My first real jewelry purchase, and my first Tiffany purchase. I admit, a bit expensive, but definitely worth it. Looking at this ring will remind me of this summer here in NYC, that I'm lucky enough to share with my best friend.

Once I get my camera (which I purchased online yesterday, I know, TOO MUCH MONEY!), we will take pictures.

YAY!

Guess who Jessica and I bumped into RIGHT OUTSIDE our apartment on Friday after doing laundry at Justin's place? THE DORITO's GIRL! aka Ali Landry. SO KOOL! OK, So she's not exactly a Gweneth Paltrow, but STILL! My 2nd famous person sighting! Jessica accidentally ran into her with her laundry. Supposedly she smelled really good. She LOOKED really pretty; prettier in person.

Anyways, this weekend was good. Went to a packed all-Asian party (hope we never do that again), but after a few drinks, it was all good. Didn't go out at night on Saturday; but we ate at this pizza place called Lombardi's. Pretty good, considering I'm not even a pizza fan. Sunday, started reading Rule of Four (Finally!). Beautiful day. I went to Central Park and read. It'd be even more perfect if I had like a bed there to read on; benches/rocks just don't cut it, and I REFUSE to sit on grass. Then watched "We Don't Live Here Anymore". One of those movies about dysfunctional relationships, infidelity, etc. Monday, went to Dim Sum (YUM!!!), then the Met with Jessica to see the Chanel exhibit. It was a bit of a letdown. Because the weather was BEAUTIFUL, we walked from the Met (83rd) to where we live (56th). It took about an hour, but it was a walk well taken. Had bunches of fun. Had dinner at an Italian place (thanks Roger!), then watched fireworks for abit from a distance on a roof for a bit. Finished up Rule of Four that night, which takes me to today (Tuesday). Why I decided to give a complete recap of my weekend, I have no idea.

Almost halfway through my internship. This summer is zipping by. I hope things work out for me (and Jessica) this summer. I'm getting used to having her around to hang out with. Keep your fingers crossed!
