Wow. I love having a job, especially at a company that I heart (I think Jessica has rubbed off on me WAYY too much). I in no way mean this in some sort of arrogant, let me laugh in your face, so I apologize if I come across like that. But it's great. I'm feeling way too lucky. Reasonable pay, good hours, good location, ability to have an AWESOME roommate, close to family, the list goes on. What more could I ask for?

In other news, the haul from the TOC wasn't that great; no one had anything REALLY kool. The only interesting bit was that Microsoft brought the Xbox 360 to demo. That was pretty kool. I like the design, but I have to say, looks better in pictures than it does in person.

So as many of you already know, my roommate thinks I dress like a PTA mom. Granted some of the things I wear, I do. But I think on the whole, I dress normally! My claim is that I usually just wear bummy, shirts and jeans, but she says even my shirts and jeans look PTA mom-like. Hmmm... is this really true? (Granted, she says there ARE isolated moments where I look normal. But those are few and far between)

And since I was cleaning through my folders, I leave you with some pictures from my study abroad in Australia in summer 2004.

*sigh* I miss Australia.

And last but not least:

I especially miss this kid. Gluck on your LSATS!

Going to AUSTIN from Nov. 4-7 to visit Jessica with our fellow former UBS interns, Jay and Spencer! If I was ghetto fab, I'd say something like "It's going to be off the heezy fo sheezy!" But coming from me, that's just laughable. Instead, I'm going to say it's going to be SUPERFANTASTIC!!! Good ole Texas BBQ, Tex-Mex, 6th Street, HERE I COME! I <3 TEXAS!

Too bad I'm not going to have time to go to Houston. The closest I'll have is a layover in IAH for 2 hours. *sigH* Which means no awesome haircut, no TayDo, and no seeing the family friends. Also no crawfish, but that's b/c it's not the season. That's ok. I'll hit it up in the summer!!!

PS:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC LIU!!!!

Picture post!

Melanie and StephFan being, well, Melanie and StephFan. haha

I went crazy w/ StephFan's can of stars, and it pretty much exploded all over her desk/bed/floor. I rock.

DOUBLE Jenga! Actually, the colorful blocks are imitation, but whatever.

Me and Lauren, my OC partner, at her 21st birthday party!

Andrew, Me, StephFan, and Tony waiting for Darren to pick us up to go to the Symphony. As you can see, we were not ready for the automatic picture taker thing to go off.

Tony and I at Wendy's before the Opera. Isn't it great how we dress all nice to go eat fast food? The week before we ate at Boston Market.

StephFan practicing posing for pictures during intermission after Act 1 of Rigoletto. Only part of the Italian was dubbed; she had to explain to me the 'other' stuff. I guess it's too scandalous for those children in the audience.

So I keep NOT having my camera during photo-worthy moments; either I forget it, or it runs out of batteries. So last night, I FINALLY had my camera. YAY!

I don't think these need an explanation...

Eugene eating duck sauce and hot sauce at the party. WTF??

Glen (the birthday boy!) and myself. It was hot and sweaty, so give me a break.

Schoolman and I.

Jack and I, busting out one of those 'take the picture ourselves'. My effort came out not so good. Maybe b/c his arms are longer it worked out...

My first visit to Glen and Schoolman's apartment. Check out the awesome wall art from Nadia(lower right) to Glen(lower left) for his bday.

After they took 151 shots downstairs. Aww... their livers are going to die.

Eugene signing Schoolman's chest. HOTNESS.

Eugene loves me! YAY! My arms are also awesome. Those pictures will have to wait b/c it's not on my camera.

Jack w/ the reflector that Dan stole on the walk back from the party. I swear, Dan's a kleptomaniac.
*EDIT: Turns out Dan didn't steal this SPECIFIC item. Someone stuck it down his pants on the walk back. Yet he is a kleptomaniac regardless.

I'm really concerned about Houston. Really really concerned. And that is still an understatement about the way I feel. Especially the people in Clear Lake. My hometown, along Galveston Bay. Why are people stupid enough to try to stick it out? I hope everything will be ok. Please be ok.

My awesome cousin Kenny has ripped the dvd of the dance I choreographed last semester. Shoot me an IM and I'll send it over to ya. 31.2 mbs.

In 2 DS dances this semester; quite excited. Should be a lot of fun! Decided not to choreograph; just don't have the time. ie I'm too lazy.

Think I'm getting sick... I keep coughing and my back is starting to get alittle stiff. I blame this on the fact that everyone around me is sick. Drinking water crazy style. Hopefully I can escape it before it gets TOO bad.

On the bright side, it seems that I've been doing pretty well in the food realm, as opposed to some people (who shall remain nameless) who eat a handful of Teddy Grahams for lunch, and are too lazy to get a burner to cook. =) I at least eat 3 reasonably healthy meals a day. Hopefully this will help me w/ the sickness thing. Boo for being sick!

Compliments of Dennis Yu.

Good times in NYC this summer, at the Union Square Harry Potter Pre-Party.

While I was waiting for Dennis to show up, I decided to make a wand. Too bad they were running out of materials, so my wand sucked. Or maybe it's cuz I got no skills. I REALLY wanted to get my face painted, but they shut down the line as I got there. BOO!

Picture taker lady cut off my head. Boo. Hmm...Dennis kinda looks like Harry Potter...

Hagrid and Dumbledore!!! Check out our hot wristbands. We were like 1000+ at that point, but they were REALLY efficient. I was impressed by how well they managed it all.

Yay lightning bolts! I did like 3 of them before I finally ended up with this one. Dennis's still looks better. I wore my bolt with PRIDE!!! SOME people were EMBARASSED *cough*JESSICA*cough* to be seen with me at Park.

Tony Luk (1:23:44 AM): i would have been ashamed as well to be seen w/ that wack thing on your forehead

SOOO PISSED!

Can't believe this. I wake up in the morning and I have 1 email. What does it say? That they're taking away Darren and Yong from my team. WTF!!!!

I hate you team 3. I don't care if you direly need them, I WANT THEM!

Man, you know you're getting old when you bump into your former SAT student, who is now a college kid.

*Edit*

Labor Day Weekend is pretty much over. I've got loads of work to do, but I havent gotten around to doing any of it. Go Steph.

Tried Orient Express on Friday (not that great) and hit up Webster. Good times had by all. Also saw Yong drunk off his ass; hilarious. The one night I really needed to have had my camera...

Saturday went shopping w/ Melanie, Mingi, and Steph at Grove City Outlets. We all ended up with a buncha good stuff (including new sneakers for me! I can cross that off my list!). Feel quite guilty for having spent so much but that's ok. O yea, and we split 6 bottles of wine b/w the 3 of us in Resnik.

Check out our purchases:

Mingi's car filled to the brim w/ our stuff.

This is Mel, Steph, and my stuff spread all over the floor. My stuff is on the bottom of the picture.

Our 6 bottles. 1 down, 5 to go!

Sunday went to Waterfront(planner, fruit snacks <- these have 0% saturated fat, dish washing liquid, saran wrap, handsoap CHECK!) again with the girls. We got wine glasses too. yay! Did some nice chillage and learned about Nascar. Also missed having a homey place. Haven't really had my own homey space since I left Houston. I miss my old room.

Car loaded w/ 5 people's groceries. It was QUITE packed in there.

So all in all, it was a good weekend.

I miss my sweetie...
Can't wait to see you back in NYC.

Wait, scratch that. Can't wait to LIVE with you. My doppelganger, my twin, my other half. I love you.

Because I feel like procrastinating, here are some pictures (all from other people) from Orientation.

New House is green. Like the forest. =)
HOLLER!!!

Look how pretty we are all together!
